Identity Of Lady Who Plunged Into Lagos Lagoon Unveiled
LAGOS JUNE 12TH (NEWSRANGERS)-As the search for the woman who plunged into Lagos Lagoon continued, her identity has been unveiled.
The lady according to report, based in Texas, US and was married to one Tunde, a banker with a new generation bank in Lagos and had three children.
She was alleged to have committed suicide after she swindled of #10 million by a man who she had a relationship
She was alleged to have arrested her lover who out of annoyance published nude pictures of their amorous affair to prove to the Police that whatever happened between the two was consensual; and that he was not a fraudster as claimed by the woman.
The issues were said to have filtered to her husband, who then decided to conduct a DNA test on the three children the woman bore for him. The result, it was gathered revealed that none of them belonged to him.
Meanwhile, it was gathered that the SUV, a Ford Explorer, that was alleged to belong to her but belonged to a good Samaritan who attempted to stop the lady from committing suicide.
It was noted that the man, in company with his wife, saw the lady alighting from a vehicle and dashed across the road. On seeing the sadness and desperation in her, the man stopped his vehicle to speak with her but was unable to reach her as she hurriedly crossed to the other side and jumped into the lagoon.
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, (Lasema) said investigation, search and rescue are still ongoing.
The Lagos State Police public relations officer, SP Chike Oti told Daily Sun that the search for the woman continued as she has not been found. Oti said the investigation into the matter was ongoing and if anything was found out, the public would be notified.
As at press time, there was no official confirmation on the identity of the woman.
