Gunmen Abduct Eight Female Passengers In Edo State

LAGOS NOVEMBER 18TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have reportedly abducted eight passengers of a commercial bus between Okhuessan and Emu in Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo State.

DAILY POST gathered that the bandits also reportedly robbed all the occupants of the Toyota Hiace bus and dispossessed them of their valuables on Tuesday.

It was gathered that the hoodlums had emerged from a nearby bush within the area and took the red-coloured bus to a corner before robbing all the occupants.

A resident in the area said “all the occupants of the bus were from Ubiaza, all the male passengers and driver including three aged women were left to go after robbing them, while all the ladies which are between ages of 30 and 40 were taken away.”

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Chidi Nwabuzor, said he was yet to be briefed about the development.
