Gbadamosi: Peter Obi Knew They Would Rig The Election So He Prepared Thoroughly
LAGOS JUNE 20TH (NEWSRANGERS)-In response to the petition filed by Peter Obi, a presidential aspirant from the Labour Party, against Bola Tinubu at the tribunal, Babatunde Gbadamosi, a former candidate for Lagos Governorship, recently posted on his social media accounts. In his post, Gbadamosi claimed that, Peter Obi had made thorough preparations to counter election rigging, and electoral malpractices because he was already aware that, both the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and the All Progressives Congress (APC), would manipulate the previous election.
Speaking via his official Twitter account, he wrote, The events at the PEPT clearly indicate that, Peter Obi was the brilliant mastermind behind the strategy employed in the recent election. Considering the track records of his opponents, Obi had foreseen their intention to manipulate the electoral process.
He continued that, The flawed nature of their rigging plan, was evident from the moment Mahmood released the INEC guidelines. Had they been aware of this, they would have focused on conducting a more effective campaign, and putting in greater efforts to secure a legitimate victory.
Continuing his statement, Gbadamosi commended Obi, emphasizing that the former governor of Anambra displayed exceptional strategic skills during the previous election.
