Finally:Osimhen Ends Goal Drought, Scores Brace In Galatasaray’s 3-3 Draw Vs Kasimpasa
LAGOS SEPTEMBER 28TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen made headlines on Saturday after scoring his first goals for Galatasaray during an intense 3-3 draw against Kasimpasa, according to Football Italia.
The Nigerian striker, who had provided assists in his previous matches, finally found the back of the net in a home league game.Osimhen’s brace came early, with the forward scoring twice within the first 28 minutes.
After his first goal, he celebrated in style by holding up a Galatasaray shirt with the word “finally” written on it, a playful nod to his long-awaited goal-scoring debut for the Turkish side.
Adding to the excitement, Osimhen paid tribute to former Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi by mimicking one of his iconic celebrations after Icardi added a third goal for Galatasaray in the 34th minute.
Despite swirling rumors about a potential transfer, Galatasaray’s vice president, İbrahim Hatipoğlu, confirmed that Osimhen would remain with the club at least through the January window.
The striker is set to stay on loan from Napoli until the end of the season, with his contract at the Italian club running until 2027, including a €75 million release clause.
Osimhen, 25, has proven his goal-scoring prowess, having netted 76 times in 133 appearances for Napoli.
