LAGOS MARCH 19TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Barcelona might pursue 26-year-old Nigerian international Victor Osimhen in the summer transfer window as a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Victor Osimhen is the subject of interest from FC Barcelona. The Catalan giants are scouring the market for a striker heading into the summer transfer window amid Robert Lewandowski’s advancing years. So, the Nigerian centre-forward has emerged as a target for the Blaugrana.

Victor Osimhen has remained one of the best strikers in the world since joining Galatasaray from Napoli on a season-long loan deal last summer. The African attacker was in limbo when the move to Chelsea failed before the Turkish champions handed him an escape route from Napoli.
The 26-year-old has gone from strength to strength during his spell with Galatasaray. Osimhen has contributed to 31 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions thus far this term, finding the back of the net 26 times while providing five assists.
