Horror As Unknown Assailants Behead Widow, Cart Away Vital Body Organs

LAGOS FEBRUARY 18TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The entire Ayetoro people in Ogbagi Akoko,Ondo State are now mourning over the death of a widow  who was late Sunday beheaded and other vital organs taken away by her killers.

Her headless body was discovered in a pool of blood with fire placed on her cut out chest.

 Information at our disposal has it that, the deceased person,identified as Mrs.Jimoh a.k.a Iya Rukayat originally hailed from Akungba but married in Ogbagi.The deceased woman was said to have lost her husband years back which was the reason she lived alone.

Meanwhile, police were said to have cordoned off the entire area as at Monday morning depriving people from gaining entrance to the number J/M 17, residence of the victim .A detective on the case who confided in our Correspondent said the victim’s heart was ripped off her body after which all other internal organs including her vagina were made away with by her killers.

“They severed her vagina and head.I have never seen something of that nature before. The victim was a widower after all and we suspect money making ritual, ” he  disclosed.

.Further checks revealed that the victim once married a man from another town whom she divorced for unknown reasons.

The traditional ruler of the town,His Majesty,Oba Victor Ojo Adetona,the Owa of Ogbagi who confirmed the incident ,told our Correspondent that, he had since summoned an emergency meeting of Owa in Council,which is the most powerful arm of  his command to the Palace to deliberate on the issue.

He said the Council is made up of high Chiefs and other prominent individuals.

“I have never seen this type of a  thing in my life.That is why we are not folding our arms. As a king I am deeply concerned. As a human being, I am touched. Of course, the police are already investigating the painful incident. I hope they would do a thorough investigation,” he said.
