Angry Youths Set Police Station Ablaze Over Alleged Death Of Suspect In Police Cell

LAGOS FEBRUARY 16TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Angry youths have allegedly set fire to a police division in Ifon, the headquarters of Ose Local Government Area in Ondo State, following the reported death of a boy in police custody due to alleged torture.

According to sources, the protesters carried out the act after learning of the victim’s death, while his friend remained in a coma at a hospital.

It was gathered that another building in the area was also reportedly set ablaze during the unrest.
