Read What Peter Obi Told Femi Kuti, When He Visited Him
LAGOS AUGUST 18TH (NEWSRANGERS)-It was reported earlier yesterday that the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, today visited a well known Nigerian Afrobeat Singer, Femi Kuti, at his residence.
According to a certain video that was shared by Vanguard Newspaper on its Facebook page, Peter Obi was seen standing with the Femi Kuti. On the said video, Peter Obi was also talking to Femi Kuti.
Mr Obi said: “I saw what you tweeted, I said no, this is not how to do it. We campaign based on issues that affect everybody in Nigeria. That is what I encourage everyone to do.”
This is coming days after the Femi Kuti had shared a video on his Instagram page stating why he cannot be part of the ‘obidient’ movement.
Based on this particular move that was made by the former Anambra State Governor to visit Femi Kuti in his house, I really think that he made the right move because we are one, irrespective of our religion or tribe.
