Pipeline Explosion Rocks Abule Ado, FESTAC Surburb Of Lagos

LAGOS MARCH 15TH (NEWSRANGERS)-An explosion has rocked Abule Ado community located close to FESTAC Town, Lagos State.

“Many residents of FESTAC, Badagry and some other areas of the state first heard a loud noise in the morning, with many of them expressing fear and thinking it was a bomb blast, reports Tribune Online about the explosion which took place this morning of Sunday, March 15, 2020.

The explosion, however, appears to be from a burst oil pipeline as “many residents close to the area later saw a massive smoke that accompanied the explosion.”

The sound of the explosion was heard across Mile II to Olodi-Apapa. Residents taught it was thunder.

A source  claimed that several lives were lost and property must have been lost  in the explosio.

There was not any official comment on the incident as at the time of this report around 10am on Sunday.
