Obi-Datti Movement Replies Soyinka, Says They Are Ready For Debate
LAGOS APRIL 8TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The OBIdients and the party’s vice presidential candidate Datti Baba-Ahmed, according to a support organization in the Labour Party (LP) operating under the name The Obi-Datti Movement, are prepared for the TV debate challenge issued by Nobel laureate Professor Wole Soyinka. As previously reported by TRIBUNE ONLINE, the eminent dramatist recently challenged Obi’s running mate to a public discussion in response to his assertions on the general elections in 2023.
Prof. Chris Nwakobia, the spokesperson for the Obi-Datti Movement, challenged Soyinka to appear for the TV debate while speaking on Arise TV on Saturday. Oh yes, he will, and successfully. Even the least Obidient can engage in that discussion and make significant contributions. When asked if Baba-Ahmed would engage in a debate with Prof. Wole Soyinka, Nwakobia responded decisively, “I know Prof. Wole Soyinka, and I know he will not go for that debate because the point is that history is replete with facts and figures.”
