Nigerian Army General’s Son Shot Dead In USA After Landing A New Job

LAGOS OCTOBER 7TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Brigadier-General Ignatius Enyeribe Nwogu has lost his son, Alexander Nwogu to the cold hands of death in America.

Alexander Nwogu, aged 23 was gruesomely shot to death at a Northwest gas station on Monday in Washington, D.C by two mad masked men.

According to Washington Police, Alex had just graduated in May with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech Institute, US.

He was about to start a new job he landed at a Northern Virginia Firm as a Tech Consultant before his life was truncated.

Reacting to his death, a close friend of Alex identified as Will Ventura said that Alex was a shinning star filled with positivity. He added that Alex was really positive, hardworking, caring with a bright future. There was no negativity about him

He mentioned that the both of them had big dreams of opening their own consulting firm together.

“He was just destined for good great things,” said Dr. Charlie Klauer, one of Alexander’s senior advisors in school. He further described Alex as a gifted, bright, energetic and enthusiastic student, adding that his death was really a tragic waste and senseless loss.

The Metropolitan Police Department are still searching for the culprits with no progress in sight. They have staked a bounty of $25,000, nearly ten million for anyone who would provide information about those responsible for Alex’s murder.

Alex is the son of Brigadier General Ignatius Enyeribe Nwogu of Obizi, Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.

He was residing with his brother and sister who are also students in US before his unfortunate death.
