Nigeria Senator Slumps, Dies In The Toilet
LAGOS DECEMBER 18TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The Senator representing Imo North Senatorial District, Benjamin Uwajumogu, is dead.
Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District, Rochas Okorocha, confirmed the death of Uwajumogu to reporters at the Senate, earlier today, Wednesday, December 18, 2019.
Uwajumogu, who was Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly during Okorocha’s tenure as the State Governor, reportedly slumped in the toilet while taking his bath this morning in his Apo residence in the Nigerian capital. He was said to have been rushed to a private hospital in the area, where he was confirmed dead.
