Nigeria Immigration Service Defends Allegations Of Herdsmen Picture On Passport

LAGOS JULY 12TH (NEWSRANGERS)- The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has defended the claim that herdsmen’s pictures are on the new international passport.
The service said such claims by people in some quarters are not true and that every page of the passport has pictures representing various ethnic groups in the country.

NIS strengthened its argument by saying that many countries are known to use their vital public documents as an opportunity to display their cultural essence.
The immigration service said Nigerians can verify their claim by checking the pages of the new passport they were issued.
It would be recalled that it was earlier reported that Apostle Johnson Suleman, the head of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, said the picture of herdsmen is inscribed on the pages of the new Nigerian international passport.
On his twitter page on Thursday, July 11, Suleiman said it is very sad that a certain group of people now represent the whole nation that has six geo-political zones.
In a tweet which he has since deleted, the cleric said that God will frustrate every evil agenda against the country.
