LAGOS JULY 19TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The sacked national chairman ?of the PDP, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff has affirmed that he and his loyalists would collaborate with global anti-corruption agencies to ensure that corrupt party members were brought to book.
Sheriff who disclosed last night in a statement ny his spokesman Bernard Mikko that he was not at any of the PDP’s meetings held between Monday and yesterday because he was not invited and was out of he country when the meetings were held called on his supporters to remain in PDP until it was returned to the grass roots.
“We will collaborate with global anti-corruption networks to bring all corrupt politicians in Nigeria to book, including PDP members having criminal cases bothering on dishonesty and malfeasance.
“Never again will corrupt politicians use the platform of our major political institutions to stardom. The party is for all and no one’s enterprise as government is conceived as an administrative state where dishonest politicians bask in democratic corruption,” he said.
The statement added that Sheriff would address a world press conference “at the appropriate time.”
