Confirming the incident to our correspondent, Public Relations Officer of National Association of Maritime Transport Operators (NAMPTOP) Mr Yaqub Kolawole Azeez said the affected driver is currently in a critical condition and recuperating at an undisclosed hospital in Lagos.

He said that the collection of N1000 by MC Oluomo boys from truck drivers is illegal.
He assured that leadership of the association is taking up the matter with the government with a view to get justice for it’s members who are usually terrorized and extorted by the Lagos hoodlums.
