Man U Declines To Its Lowest-Ever Brand Value,  Rank  5TH Behind Liverpool, Man City

MANCHESTER UNITED

LAGOS JULY 22ND (NEWSRANGERS)-Manchester United is no longer the most valuable brand in English football. Per a recent Safebettingsites data presentation, the team has fallen to its lowest-ever brand value rank. The club ranks fifth, two places behind its arch rivals Liverpool and one spot behind its next-door neighbors Manchester City.

“The current Manchester United is a far cry from when it dominated English football, both on and off the pitch,” holds Safebettingsites’ Edith Reads. She insists, “The team’s decline is down to several factors, including its poor performance in recent years and the retirement of its legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson. However, the biggest factor is probably the increased competition from its biggest challengers Liverpool and Man City.”

Manchester United may have dropped a rung in the standings, but it’s still one of the most valuable brands in sports. Safebettingsites concludes that the team’s brand value grew by 12% to 3.4 billion euros. It attributes the growth to the team’s strong global fan base and its ability to attract significant sponsorship revenue.

How Liverpool and Man City Overtook Man United

Edith adds that Liverpool and City have evolved their playing units, translating into success on and outside the field. Both teams have charismatic managers in Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola, who are a big part of their recent successes. In contrast, Manchester United has struggled to replicate the performances it was famed for under Sir Alex.

Liverpool’s recent successes on the football pitch have Enhanced its stature significantly. The club won the Champions League in the 2018-19 season and its maiden English Premier League title a season later. During that time, it also won the European Super Cup and The FIFA Club World Cup, cementing its place as one of the top teams in Europe.

On its part, City has won the EPL title four times in the last decade and holds the record for the most points in a single season, with 100 points in 2017-18. Its success is thanks to the investment of its owner, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Mansour has injected billions of pounds into the club, transforming it into a winning machine.

Bayern Munich Tops Clubs’ Valuations

Bayern Munich is the most valuable football enterprise globally. The Bayern Munich brand is worth an astonishing 4.7 billion Euros, which is over a billion euros more than the second-placed Real Madrid. Bayern Munich has built up its brand value through a long history of success, both on the pitch and off it.

The club has a huge global fan base, and its commercial partners are some of the biggest names in sports. It also has a reputation for being one of the best-run clubs in football, with a solid financial position and a clear plan for long-term success. This combination of factors makes Bayern Munich the most valuable football enterprise in the world.

Liverpool is the first of the five English teams dominating the ten most valuable football outfits list. The Merseyside club placed third on the list with a valuation of 3.6 billion euros. It led Manchester City (4th), United (5th), Chelsea 8th, and Arsenal (10th)
