Gunmen Kidnap Mother Of Chief Of State To Governor Of Kogi State
LAGOS DECEMBER 14TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Gunmen have abducted the mother of the Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello, Abdulkarim Asuku, in Kogi State.
Seriya Raji, the victim was reported to have been abducted from her residence on Monday evening at Inese/Ovakere New Layout in Nagazi community, Channels Television reported.
Nagazi community is located in Adavi Local Government Area of the state. Police authorities in the state have yet to confirm the incident.
A resident of the community disclosed that the gunmen arrived at Seriya Raji’s residence at about 7:40 pm shortly after she observed the evening prayer at a mosque within the premises.
The source said they entered the victim’s house through the mosque and whisked her away to an unknown destination, using the car they brought for the operation.
The abductors have yet to make any contact with the family of their victim. Police authorities in the state said a rescue mission has already begun.
