‘Female Inspector Arrested For Demanding Money Before Allowing Suspect To Get Inhaler’
LAGOS FEBRUAYRY 21ST (NEWSRANGERS)-The act of man’s inhumanity to man was brought to limelight on Monday by the Force Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police, Muyiwa Adejobi, who narrated how a woman Police Inspector of a division in the Lagos State Police Command was detained for demanding money from a relative of a suspect suffering from asthma before the suspect could get an inhaler.
Adejobi disclosed this on his Twitter handle where he said the woman, from the Ajiwe Division of the state police command in Ajah, was arrested and detained apparently after the relation of the suspect complained to Adejobi on the matter .
Adejobi disclosed that the relation came to the station with an inhaler to give to the suspect in detention, but instead of allowing the suspect to get the inhaler, the woman demanded for money before the relation would be allowed to have access to the suspect.
Wondering why a woman who is a mother could do this, Adejobi added that following the complaint that got to him, the woman was eventually arrested and detained, saying her action was wicked, inhuman and satanic.
