Expose: Saraki, Tambuwal, Others Are Members Of R-APC – Galadima

LAGOS JULY 5TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The National Chairman of the Reformed All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Buba Galadima, has disclosed that the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, and the Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, are bonafide members of the factional party that emerged out of the APC.
Galadima said this on Thursday, contrary to the claim by Saraki that he is not member of the R-APC.
Saraki spoke through his Special Assistant on New Media, Olu Onamela, via his Twitter handle on Thursday.
Onamela said as at the time the new party was being pronounced into being at Sheraton Hotel in Abuja, his boss was in a meeting involving the APC Caucus in the National Assembly with the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
Speaking on Channels TV earlier morning programme, Sunrise Daily, Galadima said all members of the New Peoples Democratic Party bloc in the APC, aggrieved members of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, Congress for Democratic Change, All Nigeria Peoples Party and All Progressives Grand Alliance, including Saraki and Tambuwal, are members of the R-APC.
When the presenter specifically asked Galadima about the involvement of Saraki and Tambuwal in R-APC, he said: “If they belong to this group (listed above), then they are bonafide members of the R-APC.”
Tambuwal is yet to to disassociate himself from the R-APC.
But he dissolved the Sokoto State Executive Council on Thursday at about the time the new party was pronounced into being, a move many see as tacit confirmation of his exit from the APC.
