Exclusion Of Peter Obi From List Of  58 Ex-Govs Who Allegedly  Looted N2.187trn  Spark Reaction

LAGOS MAY 5TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has issued a list of at least 58 former governors who had embezzled, plundered, misappropriated, or laundered a total of N2.187 trillion from their respective states during the last 25 years, since democracy came to Nigeria.

However, one notable name that was missing from the list was Peter Obi, the Labour Party Presidential candidate and former governor of Anambra State. This was shared by the official account of the Peter Obi Grassroots Mobilization Movement.

The post reads and I quote;

“Breaking, EFCC releases full list of 58 Ex Governors that embezzled N2.187 Trillion with Peter Obi’s name missing from the list as a result of him not involved in looting his state resources when he was the governor of Anambra State.”

Obi’s exclusion from the list has sparked widespread reactions on social media. Kindly read a few replies from people who have shared their thoughts below:
