Ex-Oyo Gov, Ajimobi Allegedly Falls Into Coma Few Hours After Successful Lung Surgery

LAGOS JUNE 16TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Few hours after the report that the immediate past governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi is reportedly recovering from an alleged Coronavirus infection after lungs surgery in Lagos hospital, Ibadan has been thrown back into palpable fear over the sudden change in the health condition of the former governor.

INDEPENDENT reliably gathered that fear grip the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the immediate family of the former governor over the sudden change in his health condition on Monday night.

It was reportedly that despite the lung surgery and foreign medication administer on him, the Deputy National Chairman of the APC (South) reportedly tested positive of Covid-19 for the second time.

It was reportedly gathered that his wife, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, who was earlier reportedly tested positive was tested negative for the second time, and has been discharged.

But a reliable source close to the family said the former governor, who tested positive for the second time had an underlying ailment which was not unusual for men his age.

“The former governor has been in hospital for two weeks and his condition is not getting better but we are hoping for the best. The irony is that the person whom we believe he contracted the disease from has been discharged.

“However, the former governor has an underlying ailment which is slowing down his recovery, and made his health condition to get worse recently”.

It could be recalled that there was palpable fears in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, over the health of former Governor earlier due to his health condition.

He was said to be seriously ill two weeks ago, but trying to manage it at home, until it got worse and got admitted at a high brow private hospital in Lagos, Independent reports.
