Delta 28th: PDP Chieftain Eyube Describes Okowa As Visionary Leader, Commends Achievements

LAGOS AUGUST 30TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Hon. Kennedy Eyube, member of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, has described Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa as a visionary leader, whose Stronger Delta project to benefit Deltans as laudable.
Eyube, renowned phillantropist and peace ambassador, in a statement yesterday in Warri, Delta State, felicitated with the state governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa and the people of Delta State on the 28th anniversary of its creation by former military President, General Ibrahim Babangida.
He said ” it’s worth celebrating because for 28 years despite our ethnic diversity in Delta State, we have lived peacefully, harmoniously and united. As we celebrate, I urge the people of Delta State irrespective of their political affiliations to support the Governor’s Stronger Delta project aimed at improving the welfare of the people”.
Eyube posited Governor Ifeanyi Okowa had diligently and successfully repositioned the state on the path of greatness by the establishment of Warri, Uvwie and Environs Development Agency, the Job Creation Agency among other impactful policies that will benefit Deltans and make the oil rich state prosperous.
Eyube said ” just recently our amiable Governor Ifeanyi Okowa advocated for the revitalization and patronage of the under-utilised seaports in Warri, Koko, Sapele and Burutu. As Deltans, we must collectively support the Governor in this agitation as such will certainly position our State to be an attractive destination of choice for investors”.
According him ” the people of Delta State have every reason to celebrate 28th anniversary of the creation of Delta State, and more importantly, at a time we are also having a Governor Ifeanyi Okowa who is genuinely committed to the growth and development of the state. We have a Governor using our state resources judiciously to executing projects, creating employments for Deltans and providing the enabling environment for investors”.
