CCTV Reveals 9-Year-Old Girl Who Sets N3bn Abuja Ebeano Supermarket Ablaze
LAGOS JULY 27TH (NEWSRANGERS)-In a classic tale of the unexpected, a nine year-old girl has been caught on CCTV as the person responsible for the burning of the multi-billion Naira Ebeano Supermarket in Abuja.
The police have now arrested the minor, who walked to the inflammable section and lit the fire that destroyed the supermarket.
Lighters, gas cylinders were kept in the section, leading to the conflagration the fire fighters found difficult to extinguish on 17 July.
In responses to the police investigators, the girl said she came to the shop in company of her mum and sister.
“We went to the market first before going to the shop. My mummy was with my sister at the drink session,” she told investigators.
Curiously, she had on her the same clothes she had on, on the day of the arson, as shown on CCTV.
