LAGOS JULY 5TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Nigerian businessman, Gaius Chibueze, also known as Bitcoin Chief, has offered Mmesoma Ejikeme a full scholarship up to the level of a Master’s degree.

Mmesoma Ejikeme had initially claimed to score 362, the highest in the 2023 UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination).

This achievement garnered praise and admiration from Nigerians, including a generous 3 million Naira scholarship offer from Chief Innocent Chukwuma, the founder of Innoson Vehicle Motors.

However, the situation took a drastic turn when the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) issued a disclaimer, distancing itself from Miss Mmesoma’s purported result.

JAMB accused the young Nnewi native of forgery and threatened to revoke her original score of 249, imposing a three-year ban on her future participation in the UTME.

Amidst the turmoil, Gaius Chibueze, an American-based businessman and philanthropist renowned for his involvement in Bitcoin, expressed his support for Miss Mmesoma Ejikeme through a Twitter announcement.

He revealed that his company would cover the expenses of Mmesoma’s education, ensuring her journey up to the attainment of a Master’s degree.

Bitcoin Chief wrote: “Our company @VoiceOfTheEast and I are ready to offer Miss Joy Mmesoma a 100% scholarship to study in the UK, CANADA or the UNITED states of America.

“Our team will work with her to get admission From any university of her choice in any of the above 3 countries.”

“We will take 100% charge of her Fees and upkeep until her masters level. @lota_nna, kindly get in touch with her and her family!

“We are calling on @JAMBHQ to desist from such unprofessional behavior.

“This is not just an attack on her person but the entire Igbo race!”
