‘Baba Ijebu’ Gives N1.5bn To Ooni Of Ife
LAGOS FEBRUARY 12TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Emerging details have it that the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi is N1.5billion richer.
The gift was given by billionaire Kessington Adebutu.
Societynow.ng, however, gathered that the number one monarch in Yoruba land did not receive the fund directly.
‘’It was given to the House of Oduduwa foundation founded by Ooni Ogunwusi’’
Ooni Ogunwusi established the House of Odududwa foundation – a charity initiative – in 2016 to touch lives far and wide.
An insider disclosed that the N1.5billion gift from Adebutu who is the promoter of the Premier Lotto, the lottery business popularly known by the street name – Baba Ijebu is meant to help Ooni Ogunwusi achieve his dreams with the House of Oduduwa.
Insiders disclosed that Adebutu’s new position as Odole Oodua – bestowed on him by the Ooni – played a big part in the giving of the N1.5Billion gift to the House of Oduduwa Foundation.
