LAGOS JUNE 6TH (NEWSRANGERS)-An aide to the immediate past Minister of Power and 2027 All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Femi Awogboro, has said those who abducted the former Minister’s sister and her twin sons in Ibadan are yet to contact the family.
He stated that security agencies were working hard to ensure the victims were released.
The family of Adelabu had confirmed the abduction of the woman and her children who she was taking to school.
Awogboro told The Nation: “We are still searching, security agencies are still on it and they have promised safe return of the victims.
“Since yesterday, the family is unsettled, the victim’s husband, who is not in Nigeria, is not happy at all, but he said he believes that security agencies in Nigeria are capable of securing release of his wife and children.”
Awogboro, however, appealed to the Police and other security agencies to double their efforts in ensuring the victims were released on time.
