‘Eko Oni Baje’ – Peter Obi Reacts To Turnout At LP Presidential Rally In Lagos
LAGOS FEBRUARY 12TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has taken to his social media page to react to the turnout at his campaign rally in Lagos State
Naija News reports that the former Governor of Anambra State, his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed and other party chieftains stormed Lagos today to woo residents ahead of the February 25th presidential election.
Recall that Lagos is an All Progressives Congress (APC) domain governed by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and also the proud home of the presidential candidate of the ruling APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Via his verified Twitter page shortly after the LP campaign rally yesterday in the state, Obi said Lagosians demonstrated why the state is cosmopolitan and central to politics and good governance in Nigeria.
Obi’s tweet read: “Our most profound and heartfelt appreciation goes to the People of Lagos State, the Obidient Family and especially the Lagos State LP-PCC and LOC members. Lagos has demonstrated why it is cosmopolitan and central to politics and good governance in Nigeria. Eko Oni Baje.
“Thank you all, and God bless.”
