WWE Top Wrestler Tests Positive For Covid-19
LAGOS JUNE 16TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Jeffrey Dugas who is the WWE associate medical director has confirmed that one of their wrestlers has been tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.
The medical director explained that the latest development means that recording of programming will have to be put on hold temporarily so as to give them the chance to test more wrestlers.
However, the identity of the affected wrestler was not revealed by the body and it is not yet known if the person is an active fighter or not.
“A developmental talent, who was last on site at WWE’s training facility on Tuesday, June 9, has tested positive for Covid-19.
”Since that time, no other individuals that attended the facility have reported symptoms,” WWE confirmed in a statement according to Daily Star UK.
It is no longer a news that coronavirus has affected the global economy and all sporting activities with most postponed indefinitely.
Even football that is the most followed and watched sporting activity in the world recently returned in Europe after almost three months of suspension.
