LAGOS OCTOBER 21ST (NEWSRANGERS)-The World Bank Group has granted Nigeria a loan of $3bn for its ailing power sector.
Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed announced the development Sunday during a chat with Nigerian journalists covering the 2019 Annual Meetings of the IMF and World Bank Group in Washington DC.
She said the loan will help expand power generation and distribution.
The weeklong Annual Meetings ends yesterday.
