SHOCKING: Ras Kimono’s Wife Dies Three Months After His Death
LAGOS SEPTEMBER 24TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Efe Okedi, wife of late Raggae singer, has died.
Okedi’s death, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, was similar to Kimono’s.
On June 9, the dreadlocked musician, whose real name is Chux Ohai, had slumped at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, while waiting to board a flight to the United States.
According to sources close to him, Kimono was immediately rushed to an unnamed hospital in Ikeja and then taken to another hospital on Lagos Island where he later died on Sunday June 10.
Okedi, meanwhile, attended a family function on Saturday September 22, after which she complained of ill-health on Sunday and was rushed to the hospital.
She died before reaching the hospital.
Okedi was also Kimono’s manager and a member of his band while he was alive. She was his third wife.
