Robbers Storm Nigeria Int’l Iwobi’s  London Home, Cart Away Valuables Including £200,000 In Cash

 

LAGOS MARCH 24TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Super Eagles and Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has seen his home burgled, and he was robbed at knifepoint in his London home, Afrik Foot reports.

The 29-year-old had a decent outing at Craven Cottage on Saturday as Fulham clinched a 3-1 win over Burnley.

However, it appears he was caught in his home on Sunday evening by Burglars in his home.

As per Daily Sports, Burglars broke into the home of the former Arsenal midfielder, holding him to knifepoint.

The robbers reportedly carted away with several valuable items like watches, jewellery, phones, a laptop and some phones.

They also parted with around £200,000 in cash, and the report revealed that the value of items stolen is estimated to be around £500,000 (approximately ₦924m). Authorities are said to be investigating the incident.

Iwobi had a brilliant AFCON 2025 campaign with Nigeria in Morocco, playing the most through passes and line-breaking passes of all the participants in the competition.

The former Everton man has helped Fulham to a place in the top half of the English Premier League table as they eye a spot in Europe for the first time since 2010.
