Reactions Trail Peter Obi Donation Of N50m To Support Education
LAGOS OCTOBER 15TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Social media users have taken to their official X account on Monday to react after the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi was captured donating money to support education.
According to Dr. Moses Paul who shared the moment on his official page, Peter Obi attended the grand opening of Shanahan University in Onitsha, Anambra state and he donated the sum of N50 million.
Dr. Moses Paul said the donation came after the former governor of Anambra state donated N100 million to Bishop Shanahan Specialist Hospital in Nsukka, Anambra state.
According to Dr Moses Paul on his official page;
“Today marks a pivotal moment in the advancement of quality education and healthcare in Nigeria. At the grand opening of Shanahan University in Onitsha, Anambra State, Mr. @PeterObi made a generous donation of N50 million, underscoring his enduring commitment to empowering future generations and driving transformation in these critical sectors.
This follows his earlier N100 million donation to Bishop Shanahan Specialist Hospital in Nsukka, aimed at upgrading its School of Nursing and Midwifery”.
