Petroleum Retailers Hail NNPC’s Reduction  Of Petrol Price

LAGOS MARCH 5TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The Petroleum Retailers Outlets Owners Association has commended the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, for its petrol price reduction.

This was disclosed in a statement by its spokesperson, Joseph Obele, on Monday.

DAILY POST reports that on Monday, NNPCL reduced its retail price from N965 per litre to N880 in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Reacting, PETROAN’s National President, Billy Gillis-Harry, said the price drop would serve as a huge relief to Nigerians struggling to make ends meet.

“This price reduction will be a huge relief to many Nigerians struggling to make ends meet.”

He added, “The reduction in PMS price is expected to positively impact Nigerians’ lives.”

NNPCL’s price drop follows Dangote Refinery’s decision on 28th February 2025 to reduce its petrol price to N880 per litre at MRS filling stations and other partner outlets.
