Native Doctor Killed While Testing Gun Bullet Proof Charm
LAGOS JULY 5TH (NEWRANGERS)-Mr. Chinaka Adoezuwe was reportedly shot dead while trying to prove to his client the efficacy of a bullet repelling charm.
The native doctor, 26, had been approached by one of his clients Chukwudi Ijezie to prepare a bullet repelling charm for him.
A witness, John Madu, said that Chukwudi Ijezie, had gone to the native doctor to prepare a bullet repelling charm, “Odieshi” and that after the doctor had done with the preparation, he requested his customer to wear the charm so that he would test the potency of the bulletproof, but his customer refused.
” We learnt that Chinaka the native doctor had prepared a bullet repelling charm ( Odieshi) for Chukwudi Ijezie who is one of his customers and that after he had finished the job,. he ordered Ijezie, to wear it so that he could test the efficacy of the charm, but Ijezie refused , instead, he asked the native doctor to wear the charm so that he would do the shooting.
The native doctor accepted and handed the gun to Ijezie to fire at him . Ijezie fired the native doctor , the charm failed him and he died instantly” .
Spokesman for the Imo state Police Command , Mr. Andrew Enwerem , said:” Yes, it really happened and the suspect is in our custody. It is a case of murder and investigation has already commenced to unravel the circumstances that led to the death of the native doctor”.
