Initially, it was anticipated that Lukaku would don the number 9 jersey following Victor Osimhen’s exclusion from the squad for the season.
Lukaku’s transfer to Napoli marks a significant move, as he joins the club from Chelsea in a deal reportedly worth $33 million.
