Lagos: Alleged Fake Madman Nab With Toy Gun Under Eko Bridge
LAGOS MARCH 6TH (NEWSRANGERS)- A 35-Year-Old man, Oyahere Johnson, pretending to be mad has been arrested by the RRS, with a toy pistol under Eko Bridge, Lagos.
Lagos State Police Commissioner, Mr Imohimi Edgal, while parading the suspect at the Lagos State Police Command, Ikeja, Lagos yesterday said working under information from a motor cyclist, Police stormed under Eko Bridge to verify the information,
He revealed that when the man saw the police approaching him, he became disorganized and was trying to hide an object under his back pocket.
“Before you could say jack he began to walk away pretending to be mentally unstable. The team arrested and search him and a black toy pistol which is perfect prototype of Berretta pistol was recovered from him,” Imohimi stated.
He advised members of the public to be vigilant as all persons who appear to be mad may not actually be so, adding that there are fake mad people this days.
Attempts by NewsRangers to speak to Oyahere were futile as he refused to respond to questions from our reporter.
