Gunmen Intercept Ambulance Conveying Corpse, Abduct Deceased’s Brother
LAGOS FEBRUARY 8TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Some unidentified gunmen reportedly waylaid an ambulance conveying a dead body and kidnapped the younger brother of the deceased in Edo State.
The deceased who died in Lagos was being conveyed in an ambulance from Lagos State to Enugu for the burial rites before the incident.
The Gunmen were said to have opened fire before taking away the deceased’s brother who was sitting in the ambulance.
The kidnappers are demanding N5 million ransom, according to the family.
The incident has disrupted the final rites for the deceased as the body was said to have been kept in a mortuary in Auchi, Benin road.
