AFCON Qualifiers: Samson Siasia Returns To Super Eagles As Part Of Eguavoen’s Interim Crew

The move is being pushed by the camp of Sports Minister Senator John Enoh, who will play a key role in approving the interim coaches for the games against Benin Republic and Rwanda on September 7 and 10, respectively.

Siasia’s return to the Super Eagles setup may raise eyebrows, but his experience and expertise could be valuable assets for the team in the AFCON 2025 qualifiers.

The NFF is still searching for a permanent coach for the Super Eagles, and Siasia’s inclusion in the interim setup may be seen as a temporary solution.

However, with his ban now lifted, Siasia may be considered for a role in the team’s coaching staff even after the AFCON 2025 qualifiers.
