Consultative And Thank You Tour: Sen. Otu Commences Central Senatorial District Tour Meets Boki stakeholders
In continuation of his Consultative and thank you tour across the State,The All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate in the state, Sen Prince Bassey Otu has commenced his Consultative and thank you tour across the Central Senatorial District.
The tour of the central senatorial district which kicked off in Boki Local Government Area began with the consultation of the Paramount Ruler of Boki and the traditional council.
In Boki LGA where the tour took off, The gubernatorial hopeful was accompanied by the leadership of the APC in the state, led by the State Chairman represented by the Deputy State Chairman, Hon. Eka William and members of the State working committee, including his wife Mrs Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, the Deputy governorship Candidate, the Director General of his Campaign Organisation, H.E. Amb. Soni Abang, High Chief Prof. Etim Nyong, High Chief Edem Duke, Chief Ernest Irek, Chief Tony Udiandeye, Ntufam John Okon, Prof. Micheal Okom, Hon Julius Okpotu, Bishop Alex Ukam among several other critical stakeholders.
In his welcome address, Amb. Soni Abang said “the good people of Boki will stand by equity justice and fairness and our election results will reflect and uphold the tradition of zoning in our State”.
Hon. Abubakar Ewa in his remarks thanked Sen. Otu for appointing Soni Abang as DG, he said Boki is known for harvesting of votes. And the Boki votes will be delivered intact for Prince Otu and the APC.
Speaking unbehalf of the women of Boki, Madam Beatrice Nya said the women of Boki are unanimously resolute about sending Otu to Government house.
Responding, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu expressed gratitude for the unity of the Boki APC family and her contributions to the politics of Cross River State.
“I’m here to thank the delegates who came to elect me candidate.Thank you for standing by rotational politics which is the bedrock for peace and devrlopment”
“I want to assure you that the concerns in our interactions shall be addressed with priority”.
“It is not yet time for campaigns, we just came to say thank you for the support you gave to us to emerge victorious at the primaries. When it is time for campaigns, we will return in a big way and address all the issues you highlighted. But for now, we just came to say thank you”.
“I appreciate the good People of Boki for the warm reception and for supporting me. I lack words to express my gratitude, I want to assure you that I will never let you down”, he said.
