LAGOS AUGUST 17TH (NEWSRNAGERS)-This is review of a Christian religious book titled, “Bible Study For Churches, House Fellowship And Discussion Groups” with 264 pages written by Richard Oladipupo Sogunle and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Meadville, USA.
Jesus Christ, for Over 2000 years ago, with a clear mission from God, his father to liberate our world from sins. After successfully completing his earthly mission, Jesus was arrested, tried, persecuted and killed where he rose on the third day and ascended into heaven.
Before his ascension, he summoned his disciples and told them to go, preach the gospel to the remotest parts of the world, baptising those who believe by his name. Today, the Christian religion has the highest memberships.
But, the current trends in the christiandom these days is about being born again, filled with the holy spirit, speaking in tongues and performing signs and wonders. Some Churches and their leaders are merely preachers, not doers of the word. In our world of materialism, some Churches and pastors seem to be running a business center. They care less about daily and weekly Bible study guides. What some of them are after are money, wealth, fame, and tangible and perishable things of life.
In most poverty ravaged countries, some churches preach stomach infrastructures messages. But, all hope is not lost. Richard Oladipupo Sogunle, a US_based Nigerian and pastor recently wrote the book titled, “ Bible Study Guide for Churches, House Fellowships and Discussion Groups” , appeal to many born again Christians in developing and developed countries of our world should endeavour to grow beyond the level of being fed with the word of God and aspire to handling solid word of God, which he said will not allow born again Christians to be tossed around by the wind of doctrines, denominations and ministerial challenges.
According to him, this book is designed to challenge believers in reading a passage of the scripture and equipping themselves with spiritual warfare weapons in memory verse during each Bible study session. He described his book as a must have for pastors, leaders of various Christian fellowships and discussion groups.
Richard Oladipupo Sogunle, the current pastor of Christ Peace. Heritage Ministries, Aurora, Colorado ~began his ministry works in the church, 2013~.He served as the diocesan leader of the Evangelical Fellowship in the Anglican Communion, EFAC,Egba Diocese in Nigeria.
