Angry Villagers Set Mad Man Ablaze For Hacking Five Children of Same Parents To Death
LAGOS MAY 26TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Five children said to have belonged to the the same parents were watched being hacked to death by a man suspected to be insane at Oja Odan a boundary town between Lagos and Ogun States.
As soon as he committed the dastardly act, onlookers pounced on him and gave him instant jugdement. He was butcheted and burnt.
The killing started when the kids were playing and then suddenly the madman appeared from nowhere, got hold of a cutlass, and started matcheting them.
By the time villagers knew what was happening, the kids were lying lifeless on the ground.
The alleged mad man was pounced on and lynched. The children were identified as five-year-old Bolu, Johnson, Tosin, Joel, and Sesan aged two, belonging to Olaegbe Adeola.
The incident occurred around 9:30 am at Asa Village in Ojaodan, a Lagos border community.
Police spokesman Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the incident to Newsmen in Abeokuta.
He added the family forcefully collected the bodies for burial despite police advice that autopsy be conducted with the claim they have no case to hold with anyone.
