A Glance At The Profile Of Bello Koko, The Newly Appointed Acting DG Of NPA
LAGOS MAY 7TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Mohammed Bello Koko was born 25 March 1969, in Koko-Besse local government area of Kebbi State, Northwest Nigeria. He received his secondary education at the Government College, Sokoto in 1986.
In 1992, Koko received a bachelor’s degree in management studies from the University of Sokoto. He later obtained an MBA in business Administration in 1995 from the Usman Danfodio University Sokoto.
Mohammed Bello Koko began his working career with FSB international bank plc Port Harcourt as executive trainee-banking operations, where he served from 1996-2004. Mr Koko rose to various positions during his career as a banker, the positions includes Banking Officer-Credit and later senior Banking Officer, Senior Treasury Officer among others. In the year 2005, he joined Zenith Bank Plc as a manager-Team Head, Public Sector and Large Corporate.
Mohammed Bello Koko was named best staff in income (Revenue) between 2009-2015. He is currently a member, Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). Koko has attended several courses at renowned International Institutions and Training Centers. Recently, The Director General of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Hadiza Bala Usman was suspended, where Mohammed Bello Koko was appointed as the new acting Director General of the authority. Before his sudden appointment, Mr Koko Bello was the Executive Director, Finance and Administration in the NPA
