Hijri: Peter Obi Celebrates Islamic New Year Day With Muslim Faithfuls
LAGOS JULY 31ST (NEWSRANGERS)-The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party and former Governor of Anambra state Mr. Peter Obi, on Saturday evening released a statement via his twitter handle, where he sent a message to Muslim faithfuls as they mark the Hijri, which is the Islamic New Year Day, on the 30th of July.
In his message to the Muslim Faithfuls, Peter Obi noted that he wishes them peace, love good health and prosperity. Peter Obi stated that in the spirit of the Islamic year, we should embrace ourselves in brotherhood and love.
Peter Obi went on by saying that he prays for the unity and safety of Nigerians throughout the nation. Peter Obi urged everyone to renew within ourselves the spirit of oneness to go us overcome our many challenges in the months ahead.
