LAGOS JUNE 17TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Nigeria Presidential hopeful and Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi has decided to ignore Fr Ejike Mbaka over his comment on ‘Stingy Man’
Recall that Mbaka while speaking during one of his programmes in Enugu, the cleric maintained that it would be impossible for Obi to become Nigeria’s president, adding that an old man president is better than a ‘stingy young man’.
“A stingy man, that cannot give people his money, with this hunger ravaging the land, and you are saying he is the one you want. You want to die of hunger? Are you people insane? Where is the Holy Spirit? ,” he stated.
In response, Peter Obi’s Media Adviser, Valentine Obienyem stated that the camp of Labour Party Presidential candidate had decided not response to the Catholic Cleric ranting.
The statement read:
Obi did not issue any reply to Fr. Mbaka
Our attention have been drawn to a statement credited to Mr. Peter Obi as his reply to Fr. Ejike Mbaka.
We wish to state for the record that Mr. Peter Obi did not and is not planning to issue any reply.
We advise that any medium trying to publish such an unsigned letter should clarify its authenticity from Mr. Obi’s Media Office.
