Nigeria Football Legend, Christian Chukwu Is Not Dead
LAGOS JANUARY 5TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Nigeria’s football legend Christian Chukwu is still very much alive, News Express can authoritatively report this Tuesday afternoon, January 5, 2020.
Rumours of Chukwu’s purported death started making the rounds early in the afternoon but checks by News Express in his Enugu base proved the tales to be fake news.
One of his friends contacted, Sir Abuchi Anueyiagu, quickly put a call across to the former international and erstwhile senior national team coach.
“The story is not true,” Sir Anueyiagu said after few minutes. “It is a wicked rumour; please disregard it.
“I just spoke with Chairman Chukwu. He is still in the village enjoying himself and informed me that he will soon return to Enugu,” Anueyiagu added.
