One Dead, Vehicles Destroyed As Angry Youths Attack Benue APC Chairman’s House
LAGOS DECEMBER 8TH (NEWSRANGERS)-The house of the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, Abba Yaro was on Monday attacked by angry youths in the state.
The youths were reportedly angered by the death of a domestic staff who was said to have got electrocuted while attempting to cut the branch of a tree touching a high tension cable close to the politician’s house.
The house, located behind the permanent site of Zone 4 Police headquarters was besieged by over 100 angry youths who took down the gates and destroyed up to three cars parked in the compound.
The Benue APC Chairman, Yaro explained that it was the voice from the community that woke him up and while they were still trying to settle issues, the angry youths attacked the building after the security man was electrocuted during his attempt to cut down a branch of the tree.
