JUST IN: Polie Finally Arrest Senator Dino Melaye
LAGOS APRIL 23RD (NEWSRANGERS)-Senator Dino Melaye, lawmaker representing Kogi West was arrested by security operatives on Monday morning at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The senator announced his arrest via his twitter handle.
This website had earlier reported that Senator Melaye had been declared wanted for allegations on gun running and placed them on the Interpol’s watch-list along with Mohammed Audu, son of late former governor of Kogi State.
Melaye tweeted: “I have just been arrested at the international wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport on my way to Morocco for an official engagement sponsored by the Federal Govt after checking in.”
He also tweeted “Stopped from traveling and under arrest. No retreat no surrender. Talk we must.”
