LAGOS DECEMBER 22ND (NEWSRANGERS)-It seems like it’s been eons since an awards show host or hosts dazzled, or even really entertained, yet it appears that Afro-Caribbean and Latina natural beauty, Miss-K has ended the recent streak of boring, cloying, try-hard, or try-not-at-all hosts while making it her first time hosting the 2018 Gathering of Africa’s best Awards, an event show of calibre which has been running for the twentieth time.
Miss-K, an Artist, Fashion Model, Brand Ambassador, and more recently a pageant judge for the Ghana Tourism Queens, appeared to be blazing onto the stage, she was funny,sweet, and seemed genuinely excited to be there.
Which is more than many awards show hosts can say. She co-hosted the event along Nigerian MC/Comedian Ram, who also did a good job of his own at keeping the crowd amused.
Miss-K hosting was not just an excellent idea, but a terrific one, as she open the stage by welcoming warmly the organizers, Trumpet Media Chief, Femi Okutubo and Wife by commending them for their consistency in running the show for the past 20th time, additionally, introducing warmly the Nigerian High Commissioner H.E Ambassador George Adesola Oguntade and his wife to the event.
Indeed, she was the highlight of the event, gracing the stage with her iconic smile, surprising us with a new hair-style, long afro-twist ponytail, bringing something interesting to look at on stage, by appearing in a bright fashionable see-through purple jacket, and a sexy black cocktail dress, matching perfectly with opulent golden jewelry set, exuding beauty and happiness all around. Miss-K did not miss a mark.
Truth is, we want her back once again on that same stage next year,
as she was the Star who shone so brightly amongst other Award winning Stars of the night.
She has been the most impeccable host which has graced the stage till date and this year, she has truly solidified herself as a shoo-in for the awards show host hall of fame.
Seriously: We would recommend her at any of the upcoming handful of ceremonies that we’ll be watching.
Perhaps it was watching her during this festive christmas season particularly, seamlessly and gracefully accomplishing excellence, something Award Winner of the Night and professional MC/TV presenter & Charity Director, Bumi West, positively affirmed expressing that “Miss-K kept her professionalism throughout and gave the crowd something to talk about, something many hosts have tried to do and pretty much failed at across the board”: getting political, Bumi West added,
“Miss-K has such charisma that she should apply for the Presidential post of Nigeria,making reference to the upcoming February election 2019. Vote for Miss-K as President.”
Miss-K then proceed to a series of interviews as the show ended, not before being captured by the event paparazzis who caught her removing her stylish stilettos as she was getting ready to leave.
