LAGOS AUGUST 28TH (NEWSRANGERS)-Barcelona have stepped up their renewed interest in Victor Osimhen after it looks like they will not get Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez.
According to Todomercatoweb, after not achieving their desired result in the Julian Alvarez transfer, the Spanish club Barcelona have made Osimhen a priority and are expected to take action soon.
TeamTalk reported that Barcelona sporting director, Deco, has renewed the pursuit of Osimhen, who was on Barcelona’s shortlist during the summer as a fallback solution.
Osimhen is considered a more accessible target than Julián Álvarez and represents a credible option to address the team’s lack of offensive solutions.
Barcelona sporting management is actively working to complete the signing of a striker before the deadline.
