LAGOS JANUARY 19TH (NEWSRANGERS)-A public affairs analyst, Olu Martins, has spoken concerning Peter Obi while addressing issues surrounding a prominent PDP governorship aspirant in Edo State.
Martins discussed the achievements of the presidential candidate on AIT News after Asue Ighodalo’s origin was questioned.
Addressing the topic, Martins said, “There are career politicians who have spent their lives in the corridors of power, and they think to themselves that they own Edo State, saying that someone who is an Edo man is a stranger.
“They say this because they think politics is their personal business. Career politicians are the ones who talk like that. I watched his declaration, and the man said that he had been on Adams Oshiomole’s economic team as an adviser since 2008.
:Now, he is the chairman of Governor Obaseki’s economic team. We are talking about 15 years and counting. The problem is that most of these thoroughbred private sector leaders are not noisemakers like typical politicians.
He added, “Look at Peter Obi’s résumé, for instance. Peter Obi has a very intimidating résumé, but he prefers to be called Mr. Peter Obi. Over here in Edo, people will get a doctorate degree from an unknown university, and they show it off more than those who have a PHD.”
